Rachelle Lefevre is naturally beautiful

How many of us would kill to look as good as Rachelle Lefevre in this 'au naturel' photoshoot? But is she really completely makeup free? Probably not... We decided to take a closer look to be able to recreate that "I'm not wearing any makeup (but actually I am)" look!

Back to Basics

Rachelle's look here is a great lesson in the importance of basic makeup, that is to say a good foundation and subtle finishing touches. It's perfect for work, or an occasion where you don't want to look overly made-up (like meeting the inlaws, for example!)

Rachelle's foundation matches her skintone perfectly, and isn't too heavy, allowing her natural freckles to show through. A BB cream could be a second option, giving moisture while also providing a light coverage. Her blusher is a delicate shade of golden-peach, which compliments Rachelle's pretty orange locks and gives her a healthy glow. It looks like she's also emphasized her eyebrows with a light brown brow pencil, softened with an eyebrow brush.

Her lips are a matt shade of rose. It's important to avoid gloss if you're after a completely natural look. Rachelle's eye makeup (we had to look very closely for this) consists of a subtle sweep of liquid liner in dark grey. Follow with a quick coat of barely-noticeable mascara and you've got the look!
