Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: 4 makeup ideas for blondes with light eyes

by Paige Exell -

English supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley embodies the traits every woman often wishes she had – gorgeous hair, full lips, piercing eyes and a strong bone structure. When she steps out onto the red carpet, she never fails to turn heads with her classic style choices and equally glamorous makeup and hairstyles.

At Get The Look we were so inspired by her most recent red carpet appearances – most notably at the Harper's Bazaar Woman Of The Year Awards – that we decided to break down four of her best red carpet makeup looks for your inspiration. Of course, if you have blonde hair and light eyes like Rosie, these looks will translate onto your skin similarly. But if you're a brunette or redhead with brown eyes, don't freight! You can take a few beauty notes from the blonde bombshell, as well!

ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY: 4 MAKEUP IDEAS FOR BLONDES

NATURAL AND GOLD

Last October, Rosie appeared on a red carpet in London wearing an off-the-shoulder leopard gown and one long, tassel earring. To keep the attention on her outfit and accessories, she opted for a subtle golden look that complimented her honey blonde hair perfectly.

To get this look, apply a shimmery gold shadow onto your eyelids, then highlight the inner corners with a white iridescent shadow. Apply a thin black line across your upper lid using a black liquid liner, then enhance your lashes with mascara. To warm up your look, apply a hint of pink blush onto your cheekbones, then enhance it with a shimmery highlighting powder to finish off your golden look!

DARK AND MYSTERIOUS

For one of her most recent looks, Rosie adopted this season's dark lipstick trend and balanced it out with a white shadow and rosy cheeks. White shadow is perfect for making blue eyes pop and seem more awake!

To get this look, apply a white shadow onto your upper lids and inner corners of your eye to brighten them up. Balance out the look by applying a volumizing mascara on your upper lashes and finishing off with a deep red lip stain on your lips! Apply pink blush onto your cheeks for a more romantic take on the look.

BRONZED SMOKY EYES

One of the best and easiest ways to make blue eyes pop? A golden bronzed smoky eye. Rosie paired her golden eyes with equally bronzed cheekbones and a shiny lip shade that when paired next to her golden blonde locks, warmed up her complexion completely.

To get this look, start off by unifying your base with a foundation of your choice, then apply a peach coloured blush or bronzing powder onto your cheekbones. Then, use a golden eyeshadow and apply it on your upper lids and lower lash line, extending slightly outwards past your outer corners. Enhance your blue eyes further by applying a brown liner on your lower lash line, then finish off with a volumizing mascara.

ROSY AND FEMININE

It's no secret that pink looks great on blondes! So why not apply it onto your lips, cheeks and eyes for a look that's both feminine and glamorous? Simply apply a brown-ish pink shade of eye shadow onto your lids, then use a darker pink lip gloss on your lips. Finish off with a touch of pink blush on your cheeks and voila! The perfect Rosie-approved look!
