Sandra Bullock looked amazing at a screening for the hugely successful film 'Gravity' last week. The black lace detail dress was very on-trend, and her bright red lips looked great against her dark locks and smoky makeup.
The first things we noticed, and that we couldn't take our eyes off, were her amazing legs ! They go on for miles! While *sigh* we'll never have pins as perfect as Sandra's, there are nevertheless some tricks to lengthen and care for our lower limbs. Just in case we ever have a red carpet moment to prepare for...
While washing, don't forget to exfoliate your legs once a week to get rid of dead cells that can dull your skin. Moisturize them at least once a day, making sure that the cream really soaks in. The best moment to do this is after a warm bath or shower, when the pores are open. You might need to use a specific soothing moisturizer after shaving to avoid irritating your skin.
Fake it to make it
If you're after a sunkissed glow, but don't have the sun to hand, don't panic. Sunbeds are dangerous, and not everyone has the time to go to a salon, but there are some great products around that can give you a healthy, natural-looking tan with minimum effort. The exfoliation we mentioned above is very important otherwise you'll get tell-tale streaks and the effect won't last for as long.
Be wise, accessorize
If, like the woman writing this article, you are not blessed with limbs anywhere near as long as Sandra's, there are some techniques that can add inches: literally and deceptively:
1. Heels with a wedge add subtle inches. It's part trick, part truth.
2. Nude shades give the impression that the leg is longer
3. Peep-toe and pointed-toe heels also extend the leg
Here's to perfect pins and our admiration for Sandra B! If only we knew if it were true about Mr. Clooney ...
