Right now, we're seeing a lot of casual hairstyles on the red carpet. One of our favorite recent low-key looks is the textured ponytail that Sarah Hyland wore to the ELLE Annual Women in Television Celebration, which took place on January 13, 2015 in Hollywood. Dressed down and divine
If you're planning on wearing a glamorous gown like Sarah's, then choosing a simple hairstyle will help you to keep the spotlight on your outfit. This pretty ponytail also happens to be perfect for showing off your showstopping beauty look.
After washing your hair and brushing it through, work volumizing mousse throughout your locks.
Apply a heat protect spray, then blow dry your hair, working section by section for a uniform finish.
Once your hair is dry, use a comb to create a center part, then gather your locks up into a loose, low ponytail and fix it in place with a hair elastic.
Take a small section of hair from underneath the ponytail and wrap it around the hair elastic, tucking it in to secure it in place at the bottom.
Spritz the lengths of the ponytail with styling spray, then twist random sections and tease them with a comb to work up some body.
Pull a few strands loose at the front of your face, then finish with a generous misting of hairspray.
You're all set. Now why not team your new effortless hairstyle with a bright pink pout like Sarah's?
