The holidays are here! We've been singing our favorite Christmas tunes for weeks already, but we'll never get tired of them. Have you planned your holiday look yet? No? Great! We have pulled together some last minute holiday beauty inspiration to get you through.
Just because you're spending the day at home with family doesn't mean you don't want to look your best. After all, this year's photo might show up on next year's family Christmas card. Or maybe you're inviting your boyfriend home to meet the family for the first time? In any case, the holidays are a time to look your best and we've got you covered (with a theme)!
Silver and gold, silver and gold
There are few things we'd rather have on our eyes than silver and gold! If you're looking for a look that is festive, but subtle, why not opt for a gold and bronze smoky eye ? To get this look simply apply a dimmed gold all over your eyelid, followed by bronze in the creaseline. It's a cool, metallic look that won't be out of place OR over the top! Another option is a glamorous silver eyeliner on your lower lashline. This look is super conspicuous but will make a huge difference to your makeup look! Plus, the light color will help your eyes appear larger!
If you want to do something special with your eye makeup, but don't want your look to go too far "out there," we've got two looks. The first is a glittery gold shadow, applied to both eyelids all the way up to the brow bone. This is glitz and glam at it's best! Another option is a silver liquid liner applied along the upper lash line and finished off with a cat eye flick . Apply the liner on the lower lash line as well to up the ante!
Ok, so you're looking for major drama? Yes, we know how stressful family functions are, but keep it to your eye makeup please! Apply a charcoal grey eyeshadow along the brow bone, toward the inner eye crease. Then follow our tutorial to apply silver glitter into your creaseline!
