When it comes to fashion, the Kardashian clan is known for their love of body-con clothing. With their infamous curves and hourglass figures, it's no wonder they choose to show off their shapes with body hugging fabrics. To avoid going overboard, Kim and Kylie keep the colour palettes of their looks muted. Both sisters put their own spin on the body-con look, but which do you prefer?
Kim's one-tone look is sexy but still somewhat relaxed because of the cardigan. The beige-grey colour palette ensures that her outfit doesn't overtake her gorgeous skin or shiny dark hair. Still, the plunging neckline and statement choker make the look very classic Kim Kardashian. Coupled with her relaxed waves, gorgeous dewy skin, and pale pinky-nude lip, Kim looks ultra feminine and glamorous!
To get her look, apply an illuminating primer, followed by a dewy foundation to even out the skin and give it a hydrated appearance. For the lids, use a brown shade in the crease followed by a few coats of mascara. Finish off by applying a pale pink or nude lipstick (whatever is most flattering to your skin tone) and blend out with your finger for a more natural look.
Kylie has been known to say that she looks up to and admires her big sister's style, so it's no surprise the outfits share commonalities. Her dress, though also body-con, is long sleeves and the warm tones are a contrast to Kim's cool, subdued colour palette. Kylie makes her look more edgy with the camel-coloured suede jacket but unlike Kim, she seems to be either bare faced or wearing very minimal makeup. Her shiny strands are pulled back into a ponytail for a chic, low-maintenance look.
To achieve Kylie's off-duty look, make sure your skin is well hydrated so you can keep the makeup to a minimum. If you have any blemishes just apply some concealer to give you coverage where you need it. Then, apply some shine serum on second day hair and toss it in a low ponytail for an easy, effortless look.
Which one is your favourite? Kim's angelic makeup and feminine outfit or Kylie's ponytail and edgy ensemble?
