While there are guaranteed to be some stunning looks floating down the runway at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, it's clear the presentation attendees are running a show of their own! From editors and journalists to stylists, bloggers, and tastemakers, the well dressed crew hit the pavement with some pretty experimental ensembles, mixing punchy hues, interesting patterns, silhouettes, and textures to create their own runway-ready looks.
The style set
Arguably the best on the street, blogger Sofie Valkiers turned heads wearing an A La Russe dress that featured abright red, blue and white stripe skirt. Valkiers absolutely nailed it! She teamed her eye-catching ensemble with oversized frames, a Perspex bag and a barely-there beauty finish.
Anna Dello Russo
Looking street fierce, Anna Dello Russo rocked her usual straight-off-the-runway fashion week attire. On Monday, she went for an edgy LBD that boasted lavish detailing across the bodice and right shoulder. She accessorised with a bronzed base and bright pink lip.
Fashion editor at Grazia Germany, Stephanie Morcinek, went for a youthful, print shift dress that featured intricate jewel details across the skirt. She kept her makeup fairly neutral, apart from a few coats of mascara and a bold pop of red across her lips.
If you're looking for some style inspiration this season, look no further than those on the street at Haute Couture Fashion Week. At the moment they're crushing on: Perspex bags (yes, it's currently in vogue for everyone to know exactly what's inside your handbag); candy colored clothes- think lime green and hot pink with a splash of tangerine; clashing prints- a winning paparazzi look that will have you turning heads in no time; and oversized frames- the only way to elevate your street-inspired ensemble.
