Last week, Couture Fashion Week kicked off in Paris for extravagant presentations by design houses by the likes of Christian Dior, Versace, Giambattista Valli, Fendi, and Chanel. And while we couldn't help but awe over intricate gold and silver details, regal hair ties, and shearling collars on the runways, show goers brought their A-game off the runways as well.
Parisians made the streets their catwalk during Fall 2016 Couture Fashion Week as street style stars strolled into Chanel's atelier-themed show looking as elegant as ever, while others like Milan-based fashion blogger, Chiara Ferragni, kept things geek-chic with an old-fashioned collared mini-dress and cat-eye glasses for Gucci's presentation. Other notable style stars included L'Oreal Paris muse and blogger, Kristina Bazan, who kept things simple, yet elegant in a matching pale pink set that allowed her sultry dark locks to stand out amongst the crowd.
Meanwhile, L'Oreal ambassador Soo Joo Park adopted her signature cool-girl style for Fashion Week, wearing a pair of cut-off denim jeans, platform sandals, and a mesh black top that she paired against red lips, bleached brows, white lashes, and a pale complexion – a '90s-inspired look that was enough to keep style photographers on their toes on its own!
PARIS FASHION WEEK: TRENDS SPOTTED ON STREET STYLE STARS
From Versace's abstract animal prints to Gucci's old-school paisleys, the streets were filled with bold patterns outside the Fall 2016 Couture shows. Notable fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni embraced a geek-y appeal for this seasons Gucci's presentation, while Olivia Palermo adopted a stripes-on-stripes ensemble that she paired underneath a floral blazer, and finished off with matching floral cat-eye sunglasses.
Pale pinks and nudes were also a season standout for Fashion Week, with L'Oreal muse Kristina Bazan spotted wearing a pale pink matching outfit that kept her look simple, yet elegant. Others opted for similar nude all-over looks that came in the form of minimalist dresses, and fringe details. Fashion blogger and creator of Song of Style, Aimee Song was spotted in a similar pale look, this time, opting for a light blue ruffle dress that can be transitioned from summer to fall.
The most romantic trend seen outside of Paris Fashion Week? Black and white lace details that gave show goers a soft, feminine appeal. Lace details are a simple way to add an air of elegance and sophistication to your fall wardrobe, and judging by this season's runway trends and street style stars, it's a classic and timeless look that shows no signs of slowing down.
