Named 'Model of the Year' at the Elle Style Awards in February, British supermodel Suki Waterhouse is much more than just a connection to Bradley Cooper. She caught our attention in particular with this great sixties-inspired beauty look. We love how Suki manages to show the vintage style influence while at the same time keeping the overall look fresh and contemporary. Looking to work some sixties retro into your beauty look without coming across as cliché? Let's follow Suki's lead...
Nothing says sixties hair more than Brigitte Bardot bangs! But Suki has given the famous style her own touch: instead of a blunt fringe, curling in on itself slightly, her bangs are cut unevenly, and set into a semi-side fringe. And, where the sixties style usually features straight hair that flicks out at the ends, Suki's long golden locks have been styled in glossy waves.
We love Suki's makeup! Her dark brows, black cat eye and baby pink pout look great with her sixties-style hair. If you're looking to copy her makeup, here's how!
Use a liquid black liner to trace a cat eye along the upper lashes, finishing in a sharp point, not a flick. Do the same along the lower lashes, joining up the lines to create a thin angular point.
Take a lash-defining mascara and zig-zag the wand from the roots for maximum volume. Apply on the outer lower lashes too.
Shade in your brows with a liner two shades darker than your natural eyebrows.
Apply a baby pink lipstick and gently blot. Brush over some setting powder for a matte, nude pout.
The perfect 1960s-meets-2014 beauty look!
