Internationally renowned supermodel, style icon and glamourous wife of British comedian David Walliams, Lara Stone , has become the latest person to join global beauty brand L'Oréal Paris as an ambassador. Her newest venture as the new face of L'Oréal Paris marks Lara's return to the industry after having taken time out to have her baby son.
Known the world over for her unique looks - including her indisputably beautiful gap-toothed smile - Lara has often been called something of an "anti-model", forging a career for herself that has seen her open catwalk shows for fashion giants such as Fendi and close more than a few for Marc Jacobs and Stella McCartney among others.

Born in the Netherlands to a British father and Dutch mother, Lara Stone was discovered on the Paris metro whilst holiday with her family at the age of 12. Following that momentous day, she went on to feature in Givenchy's haute couture catwalk show for their A/W 2006 collection before later appearing on the runway for the world's most respected fashion houses including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Lanvin and more.
Alongside a myriad of international clothing and fragrance campaigns for labels such as Clavin Klein and Prada, former Paris Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld also took a shine to the young model, featuring her on no less than ten of the magazine's prestigious covers since 2007.
At just 29 years old, it seems as though Lara has only just begun, whether in terms of a career, her family or with L'Oréal Paris, making this the perfect time for her to take on a new role as one of the brand's many representatives.
