Another day of the Toronto International Film Festival means another day of gorgeous celebrities and red carpet trends. And while we've seen our fair share of dark smoky eye makeup, graphic liner, coloured eye shadow and classic up-dos, there's one hair colour trend that seems to be taking over the red carpet: red.
That's right. This year, it seems redheads have all the power on the red carpet, with redheaded beauties like Amy Adams, Ellie Bamber, and Olivia Cooke showing off their mesmerizing red hair and taking over the red carpet. Looking for a little change or colour inspiration for fall 2016? Look no further!
TIFF 2016: REDHEADED TAKE OVER
American actress Amy Adams is just one of the redheaded beauties we spotted at TIFF 2016. Every year, she brightens up the red carpet with her classic beauty and charming, old Hollywood sense of style that gets us every time. At the premiere of Nocturnal Animals, Amy posed in a gorgeous one-strap white gown that complimented her soft side-swept waves and golden eye shadow. Looking for a shadow colour to enhance your red hair? Opt for a shimmery gold like Amy that will warm up your entire complexion!
BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD
The second redheaded beauty to walk the red carpet? Bryce Dallas Howard, who attended the premiere Nocturnal Animals with her red locks pulled back into an easy ponytail, and bangs that framed her face. To accompany the look, the 35-year-old actress opted for classic black dress with plunging neckline, beige golden shadow and a coral smile that enhanced her freckled complexion.
For her appearance at the screening of Nocturnal Animals, 19-year-old British actress Ellie Bamber brought her A-game to the red carpet. She posed in in a silver and gold sequin t-shirt mini dress that matched her dramatic smoky eye and complimented her smooth, wavy hair.
Olivia Cooke, another English beauty that is passing through Toronto to present films The Limehouse Golem and Katie Says Goodbye paraded the red carpet on September 11th wearing an emerald green velvet gown with plunging neckline that perfectly complimented her pale skin tone. As for her makeup, she matched her eyes to her hair colour, opting for a golden red shade of shadow and flushed cheeks. Her vibrant red curls sat at her shoulders, showing off her gorgeous gown and adding just the right amount of glamour to her look.
