Another day at the Toronto International Film Festival has gone by, bringing even more film talent and red carpet style with it: can't it be TIFF all year round?! With this amount of beauty inspiration on show, we will surely never have a bad hair day again!
If you are looking to shake up your hairstyle or go for a daring cut this new season, TIFF 2015 has brought some gorgeous short hair cut inspiration into the lime light, from Kate Mara to Rachel McAdams to the fabulous Jane Fonda . Only yesterday, September 16, the TIFF premiere of Mississippi Grind not only brought a cool men's cut to the forefront from actor and L'Oréal ambassador Ryan Reynolds , but we equally spotted the voluminous, short blonde locks of actress Analeigh Tipton lighting up the red carpet.
Get the look
Want to get your short cut looking red carpet ready for a special evening? Analeigh's short, tousled curls work best on a slightly grown-out pixie cut, giving you a little more length to play with.
While your locks are still wet from washing, massage some volumizing mousse into the roots and spritz throughout with some heat protective spray.
Use a round-headed brush to blow dry your hair, pulling the locks around the brush head from the back and pointing the hair dryer from the front to create the right volume and direction.
Give your hair another spritz of heat protection - you can never be too safe! - and use a medium curling iron to create gorgeous texturized curls throughout your hair, holding the hair against the barrel for about 10 seconds.
Tease the curls with your fingers to give them a relaxed, tousled look before spritzing throughout with curl defining spray. Simple!
