Peyton List sports a gorgeous everyday beauty look for teens

Tutorial: an easy makeup look for teens

If you're new to using makeup and are looking for an everyday look that's both pretty and easy to achieve, we've got the one for you! Requiring only the essentials and 15 minutes of free time, this is the perfect look for any high school or college student to employ on a day-to-day basis. Read on to get the look!

Before you start...

- Remember that great makeup starts with excellent skincare. Always cleanse, tone, and moisturize your skin at least once a day and never go to sleep with your makeup on!

- Go light on the foundation, you don't really need it. Youthful skin has a gorgeous natural glow that you should be showing off, not covering up!

- Less is more!

Get the look

Step one: Start by applying concealer onto any blemishes or imperfections. Then, apply a luminous BB cream (includes skincare benefits + SPF) to your face with a brush or sponge.

Step two: Apply a light dusting of mattifying/finishing powder.

Step three: Using an eyeshadow brush, apply a natural shade such as gold, taupe, brown, or peach to your eyelid. If you want to make your eyes really stand out, you can also line them with a brown eyeliner, which is softer for daytime. Finish off your eye makeup with two coats of mascara.

Step four: Apply a wash of peachy pink color to your cheeks with a blush. To get the most natural results, smile, and apply the product on the apples of the cheeks before sweeping up toward the temples.

Step five: Complete the look with sheer pink lip gloss and you're all set!
