Elizabeth Olsen is more than just an actress, a fashionista and the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley, she's also one of our favourite sources of low-key beauty inspiration!
We think this look (opposite) is great for a laid-back look or even a more dressed up one, so keep reading to find out how to steal it with these handy hair and make-up tips...
Start with your hair
If you have time after washing it, allow your hair to dry naturally. Apply a lightweight hair oil to help smooth your hair as it dries, without making it poker straight. This will give you a slightly unpolished, natural hairstyle like Elizabeth was rocking in New York.
If you're in a rush, you can always blow-dry your locks, just remember to apply a heat protection spray or mousse before you start and apply the oil afterwards to help de-frizz and give your hair a natural-looking shine.
Move on to your make-up
Start by applying a base such as a BB or CC cream. They blend with your skin for a smooth finish rather than merely covering it up and potentially looking caked on. After that, apply just a hint of blush to your cheekbones to add a little definition and the healthy glow Elizabeth was sporting!
For your eyes and lips, the buzz-word is "subtle". This means a coat or two of mascara, a fine line of kohl if you feel you need it and a delicate lipbalm or lipgloss.
And you're done! When we said easy, we meant it.
