There are a lot of different ways to do smoky eye make-up, from classic styles to reversed ones. Now, we've come up with a tutorial to get the perfect two-tone smoky eye look in three easy steps.
The two-tone look is definitely one to try for any beauty fan who's looking to make a double impact with her look!
You'll need: Two contrasting eyeshadows (one light, one dark usually works quite well) and some black mascara.Step one
Begin by applying the eyshadow you want to stand out the most to your eyelid, starting in the middle of your eyelid and working outwards. When you reach the outer corner of your eye, extend the eyeshadow a little further to accentuate the smokiness!Step two
Next, you need to apply the second eyeshadow. Apply a small amount to the inner corner of your eye, sweeping it out slightly to meet the eyeshadow you've already applied. It's important not to put too much on because the whole two-tone thing only works if you can see the two distinct colours! So, ignore the blending technique you would use for a classic smoky eye look and leave the colours separate (once they're touching).Step three
Every smoky eye make-up style requires a little finishing touch: a coat of mascara. Go for a basic mascara, choosing one that simply helps to emphasise your lashes and keeps your intense eyes balanced. In other words, fake eyelashes would be a step (or two) too far...
Now all you have to do is choose the perfect party outfit to go with your eye make-up... and you're done!
