Sunday evening (April 19) marked the premiere of Good Kill at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival, drawing stars January Jones, Ethan Hawke, and Zoe Kravitz to the red carpet. As on-trend as ever, Kravitz attended the event in a striking minimalist ensemble, pairing a strapless black leather midi-dress with braids and shimmery natural makeup.
We love this look!
At first glance, Zoe appears to be wearing almost no makeup, but up close you can tell that she's actually sporting subtle washes of color that work to play up her features in the most unassuming way possible... it's pretty much the ultimate in "I woke up like this" makeup!
Pale pinks on her lips and cheeks bring warmth to the actress' complexion, while a touch of bronzer along the cheekbones and contours of the eye creaseline adds definition. To top it all off, shimmery powder and eyeshadow brings light to face, giving Zoe a natural glow. If you love this look as much as we do, here are a few tips for recreating your own natural look!
Bold brows: Big brows have been a huge trend in recent years, making life a little bit easier for many of us beauty-loving gals! To try the trend, simply use a clear or tinted brow wax and wand to brush the hair up and out toward the edges of your face. Simple as that!
Subtle contouring: Many think contouring is meant exclusively for cheekbones, but did you know that by brushing it into your creaseline and along the outer edges of the bridge of your nose, you can further define your features?
Balmy lips: Forget high pigment lipsticks this season! Switch them out for semi-sheer lip balms and glosses for subtle but sexy results!
