Zoe Saldana's makeup at 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' premiere

From blue to green, Zoe Saldana has certainly played her fair share of colorful characters! But, on the red carpet to celebrate the world premiere of 'Guardians of the Galaxy', the actress and L'Oréal Paris brand ambassador looked stunning with a vintage-inspired beauty look, no kooky colors required! Want to copy this look? It's easier than you'd think...

Smooth and Matte Base

Zoe's skin looks absolutely perfect, even under the glare of all those lights and flashbulbs. Her complexion remains completely matte, without the slightest hint of shine!

If you're after a matte complexion, start by applying a moisturizer that targets excess sebum production, especially if you have naturally oily or combination skin. Follow with a primer, which will act as a base layer to your makeup. A light cream- or mousse-based foundation will give you good coverage with clogging your pores. Once it's dry and well-blended, dust some loose powder over your forehead, along the bridge of your nose and on the tip of the chin (the key shiny places). Keep your powder in your purse if you're making a night of it - for emergency touch-ups.

Shimmery bronze eyes

As a contrast to her perfectly matte, flawless complexion, Zoe's bronze eye makeup is shimmery. It's a super simple, yet stunning look to copy. Start with a line of black kohl over the top of the lids, then apply a copper or bronze shade (whichever suits you best) over your eyelids, blending up to just below the brow bone. With a thinner eye shadow brush, dust some of the copper/bronze color along your lower lash line. Finish with a line of kohl along your waterline and a coat of lash-thickening mascara.

Complete the look with a berry-red lipstick, and you're ready for the cameras!
